On the 16th of November in 1974 a message was beamed from the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico. The message was sent towards the M13 globular star cluster and isn’t due to arrive at its destination for 25,000 years.
On the 29th of July 2072 the same message is received back on Earth.
